When I was contemplating about what 2025 would mean for many of us in the music industry,
I wondered if we are embracing the shift of Technology in music.
But then I remembered back in 2011 when Ryan Leslie teased the release of Les is More, he was everywhere. If ever there was a blueprint for the Indie artist, this was it. He campaigned and innovated. He wasn't just releasing music. He was laying a foundational blueprint that others could follow.
Eventually, other Artists would catch the wave like, Chance the Rapper, Russ, Nipsey Hussle and now, of course Oakland's own, LaRussell. We are here and this is happening now.
